FOSTER CHILD full trailer

Thelma (Cherry Pie Picache), together with her husband Dado (Dan Alvaro) and teenage sons Gerald (Alwyn Uytingco) and Yuri (Jiro Manio), are an urban poor family hired by a local foster care facility to provide temporary home and care to abandoned babies pending the latter's formal adoption. The inevitable separation is heart-rending for the foster family.




Thelma's foster child John-John (Kier Segundo) is to be turned over to his adoptive American parents. Every moment with the 3-year-old John-John becomes more precious as Thelma goes through the day fulfilling her motherly duties for the last time—bathing John-John, feeding him, and bringing him to school where the boy participates in a school presentation.




Accompanied by the social worker Bianca (Eugene Domingo), Thelma and her son Yuri deliver John-John to the posh hotel where the elderly American couple are billeted. The bittersweet turnover, underscored by the luxury of the place, delivers the painful truth that love and life are not equal.




The realization hits Thelma and Yuri as they leave the hotel.

theres about maybe 10% or less fostercare kids that end up in a good home you find these foster parents that just do it for that monthly ckeck and yes i can talk because ive been in about 6 foster homes and not one was good to me the storys i would tell you will have tears running down your face and im still tormented by my past.

hehehe, grabe ka namang manggalaiti diyan... tagalog k naman ng tagalog... we need movies like this. gulat ko may ganitong movie pala, gusto ko mapanuod. dito nakikita talaga natin ang tunay na kulay ng pilipinas sa likod ng asul, pula, puti at dilaw na watawat nito. ^_^ kung hindi mo maatim makita mga ganitong palabas, desisyon mo yan. pano natin malalabanan ang diskriminasyon ng ibang bansa kung mismong tayo hindi natin alam kung anong nangyayari sa bansa natin? ^_~

Tumingin ka muna sa salamin bago ka magsalita ng kung anonong kababuyan sa sarili mong mga tao. Mga mangmang man ang mga mahihirap na tao sa pilipinas yun ay dahil walang nagtuturo sa kanila. Sa halip na "kasukahan" mo ang mga pelikulang ito, bakit hindi mo kaya gamitin ang energia mo para tumulong sa mga kapwang pinoy na naghihirap.
