This is not a moray eel. This is a freshwater eel of the genus Anguilla. That doesn't take away the awesomeness of the video though.

I have the same Eel. Was sold to me as fresh water moray.... I've had him 3 mos. now... I changed my tanks slowly over the course of 6 weeks to about 16-18 towards brackish/salt. He eats almost every other day. I feed him krill.
He is in a tank with larger fish, and a tire track, they all went thru the salinity change no problems...
my tank is crystal clear, runnin fluval and is 65 gal. with some live plants and sand for him... tryin to make him REAL comfortable =)

That is sweet! :) I totally wish I had a pet eel again.

definitely NOT a moray eel. You have a semi-aggressive tropical freshwater tank set up. Those fish in the background are blue gourami which are freshwater. There is no way a moray eel would survive in a freshwater tank and no way any other of those fish would survive in a saltwater tank. it is a nice setup for a freshwater though.
