-- but, though my family support me. THEY don't understand how important is is to me, i don't WANT the scrambeled eggs with hashbrowns, but they just don't understand and said, fine, ahve the hashbrowns but you need the nutrients. I get all that but i'd rather get it from a variety of veg. Why do i have to eat that, fgs. It's cause we are used to eating processed foods and my mom thinks its too expensive to please everyone. I just wish i worked and shopped for myself.

The same for me, too! Watched Earthlings March 2007 and became vegan and I will never regret that I watched the movie and became vegan. I'm feeling so much better on a vegan diet and I've been a vegetarian for almost 20 years before.

That was the same for me. I was thinking "oh, -maybe- I'll go vegan". But then I saw Earthlings, and there were no two ways about it after that.
I've only been going for a few days though, but it's a start!

well, you just inspired me to post an update. I would eat fruit in the morning. Does your Mom buy fruit or frozen fruit? You can but frozen fruit on sale and some yogurt [soy or coconut milk] and throw it in a blendor and breakfast is done.

Congratulations on your Veganversary! I just turned Vegan about 10 weeks ago too! Though, I was vegetarian for about 8 months prior.
