you know I have a '97 YZF600 too, and a camera does no justice to how loud and good a motorcycle sounds, just wow, I got my bike yesterday and let my buddy ride it up the rode past me... good Lord that thing is loud... I LOVE it :)

What helmet is that? im getting my blue/silver 600r on monday and i want a blue helmet that matches the blue on the bike somewhat close.

It's a Zox Tavani R ripper 2 in glossy blue
it's a pretty good comfortable helmet and inexpensive to boot they have them for $81 on their website which is far cheaper than I paid for mine but it's last years model so I can't bitch too much

is this a good beginner bike? i'm 16 and i took the safety course...i'm going to turn 17 in two months and buy this bike...i'm going to get a lot of riding expierence over the summer and i learn fast so i know i will get sick of a 250 or 500 ninja...i'm mature and i wont try stupid wheelies and crap like that...is this bike a good friendly beginner bike? thanks man...

dude it's a great bike to begin on it's not really a wheelie machine but it's definitely not slow either it's also much more comfortable than most other sport bikes and for the price of it you just can't go wrong
