The saying "How the Mighty Have Fallen" comes from a lament written in the Bible to mark the death of King Saul and Jonathan.
The story is set at the Mountains of Gilboa, where we filmed this video.

@EddyScbr hear hear - well said, mate. the knee jerk, anti anything and everything religion crowd are an awkward embarassment to the new atheist/secular humanism movement. Just goes to show there are uneducated, intolerant, narrow minded, uncurious, extremists in every group. or maybe they are a group unto themselves, and just infiltrate all the other groups. :)

Now... Ahem... *clears throat*
Great job, Brady, as always. Whether someone believes or not in this, these vides ARE informative, whether because you believe in it and want to learn more or because it's just interesting to hear such stories anyway.

Why are there always atheists that don't know when to shut up on these videos? You beleve in these stories? Good for you! You don't? Good for you! I have some doubts in them too! JUST DON'T TRY TO MAKE THE ENTIRE WORLD THINK LIKE YOU, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!! Calling people stupid or criticizing someone's religious views is ridiculous, so just shut the fuck up! I have friends that atheists, but the ones that try to make the entire world turn to an atheist view are the worst kind...

@davidnmaker
That are NOT historical facts in any sense of the word.

@MARI0LAND Whether or not the spiritual themes are factual are not what's under discussion. What's under discussion is the historical *facts* in the Bible. Facts like Jesus' existence and life, his disciples and their writings (or writings concerning them), and the locations in the Bible.

It's amazing how grown up intelligent men cannot see the difference between mythology and history...
