The genocide in Rwanda 1994

8000 INNOCENT PEOPLE were killed EVERYDAY for 100 days and the world sat back and watched in silence. A nation shed tears of blood but NO ONE answered. Young children had their futures slashed with machetes and NO ONE bothered. Just because we are African doesn't make us unimportant. We are ALL human beings made it the very image of God. SHAME on the world for not doing anything to help Rwanda when they needed help the most. May the innocent souls of the dead continue to Rest In Peace.

@lioneltabifor you raised a very good point. However, what did Africa during this time? Unimportant or not, they say back and watched, just like white people. Responsabilities of westerners in Africa are so huge I don't even know where to begin, but Africa should stop blaming the whole world and take some action. If this was happening in my country, I'd be fighting like a madman to avoid it.
