Yes it pales in comparison...so don't compare it!! I was a Dashboard Confessional fan first, and this was my first taste of Big Country (who then went on to become one of my favorite bands). So THANK YOU Chris and Dashboard!! I probably never would have heard of BC if it weren't for this cover.

I've been a Big Country fan for years , and well .......... this version isn't that bad - they have tried to put their own stamp on the song, nothing wrong with that. No cover will ever be as good as the original song - so why bitch about it
