You would still need to raise taxes in order to fund UH even if you end the wars. Obama now wants a federal sales tax in order to fund it. Bush and his Sec of Treasury Greenspan saw this banking crisis coming. In 2003 and 2005, they held hearings to bring more oversight on fannie mae and freddie mac. Democrats like Frank and Dodd said everything was going to be fine and to not worry. As a result, the Democrats voted down Bush's proposal. Ive lived in San Diego and LA and Ive studied the border a lot too. The double fence works. Smuggling in SD went down 90% and crime went down in SD 53% in 94. You have not said one valid point yet

Whether it's a phony war or not, the world is safer without Saddam Hussein. We haven't been attacked since. HOW THE HELL DID WE SCREW EDUCATION?? The teachers union and massive school districts destroys the LAUSD for example. The LAUSD used be a great district but then the liberals destroyed it. We favor smaller school districts where local school boards run it, not a massive bureacracy. If you wan't universal health care, where are we going to get the money? We have a 12 trillion dollar deficit
