Wish Portland got something like this

A large white pimple with braces marring the skyline of Vancouver; a $126 million structure with a $563 million roof capable of opening, partly, for the BC Lions' 10 home games a year. A humiliation for the city and an embarrassment for the government. At least the fast ferries floated!

We have the same stadium in Poland. It looks exactly the same .Greetings from Poland

were is the gm stadium were Vancouver Grizzlies use to play at?

SAME OLD, SAME OLD.
Plastic grass, and the fans are still a mile and a half away from the field.
Once the novelty of the tv screen and roof wear off, people are gonna come
to the realization that they got saddled with a lemon. 500M wasted dollars !

Wow the recent Stadiums built in Arizona ( University of Arizona Stadium ) and Century Link Field in Seattle cost around 456 million to complete. And these stadiums are so much more advanced, better looking, and engineered to perfection yet BC Place gets a new roof, a tv, and some new windows and this costs over 500 million. Are you kidding me. There is something more to this deal, I believe the residents of BC have been lied to yet again. Wake UP.

Air-supported domes are somewhat outdated. The interior pressure needed to keep them inflated can be uncomfortable and as BC Place itself demonstrated a few years ago, they're vulnerable to significant disruption if the membrane tears. The new dome is in effect a giant circular suspension bridge supporting the roof externally, it's more resistant to the elements and your ears won't pop.

This building looks impressive, but how the government of B.C. thought it was ok to spend more than a 1/2 billion dollars of tax money to retrofit and put in a new roof is beyond me.
Actually its supposed to be in place by the 2011 Grey Cup.
I'm from the US, and I am wishing nothing but the best for you folks in British Colombia, Canada. You all have waited for these things a long time. Enjoy them :-)

Wow!! I AM impressed! Here in Calgary, we've got McMahon Stadium - a lovely outdoor stadium built in 1829, and still showing all the hallmarks of that great era :( Backwoods we are, and probably stayin' that way. Great job BC! I'm jealous as all H_ll :)
