@Shelby1Lesley usually the head is too small of a target and moves a lot. i mean if you feel like taking the risk and are pretty close range by all means do what you want. I dont hunt hogs but i always for the heart/lungs kills just as quick usually, and worst case you just shoot again in the neck.

Nice! I am surprised at what that little .17 HMR can do. don't mind all of the happy animal idiots on here. I have seen first hand the damage these pests do not to mention they are dangerous to people and pets. Have one of these happy animal huggers send one of there kids out there to pet the cute little pigs! Thanks for doing what many can't and won't.
