I am not familiar at all with Tony Blair's policies, but I must say I liked the man. He seemed to be a credit to the UK. Of course, being American and a slight Anglophile, I can be considered slightly biased.
Ah well, no doubt you wacky Brits will find someone equally respectable in short order. This current PM just seems so... disconnected.

He faced the HOC every week Wednesday at 12, very few if any leaders in other countries do that. British PM are very accountable - can you imagine the US President being dragged down to congress to answer for himself? No thought not.

America cries for you because you have lost the best leader that you have ever had. He was and is so courageous and we will all miss his bravery to fight against the Islamic Fundamentalists Where ever they may be. Tears....spooky!! a proud American who lived in the ERA of this good man.
