Miller conducts a battery of tests to simulate the punishment Spectrum Plasma Cutters take in the real world. We power drop our machines to test the strength and reliability of their components and structure. Then, we subject them to the "Drop and Jerk", a free-fall drop test where the machine is attached to a cable, which verifies the overall strength and durability of our handle and case. We make sure that despite real-world abuse, your Miller plasma cutter will keep on performing reliably. Insist on Miller Plasma! They keep working when others don't! • Power drop refers to the until being plugged on while dropped. I still love my hypertherm 65. Can argue with a company that specializes in plasma cutting.

  • Get a Hypertherm and you won't have to question anything because they are the best of the best!!!!

  • @unapro3 its dropped by machine to ensure a fair test, if dropped by hand then the hight of the drop may change from drop to drop.

  • @Empiresunblack Germans

  • Miller is not an American but a German industry

  • americans

  • What is a power drop? Why not just drop the unit by hand, it will fall at the same velocity, power drop.....makes it sound harder.
