Confession - I am an upper elementary school teacher and after viewing many, many videos from redshirtarmy, I must confess that it's difficult to teach the early American history that is in the textbook. The Civil War was my favorite section, but now I dread it, as I must teach the Union version.

They make sure and print that Former CSA general Forrest was their first Imperial Wizard. However they dont mention once the membership roster. How by their 5 year anniversary about 40,000+ current and former Union troops (some stationed here as part of the occupation) were also members.
No mention of how many Southerners continued to starve in the midst of the destruction. Yet rant on and on about an Un-Constitutional warcriminals behavior ie Lincoln.

@hookemstano Shut the fuck up if you dont want a part of the south get the fuck out we dont want you either... ohh and btw i live in florida south of gainsville

@hookemstano If you want nothing to do with the South then you should leave. You live in a place that you do not consider home and in which you despise the people who do call it home. In other words, go back home.

I am from Florida, my family has been here since the 1830's. My Great Great Great Great grandfather fought in the 1st Florida infantry against Union forces. There are still some of us down here in Florida and I am damn proud of being from Florida. Our new governor Rick Scott had Dixie playing during his inauguration.

Red Shirts were in Italy.
You're wearing a shirt with the Red Hand of the O'Neill on it? Are you an O'Neill supporter? Reestablishing the O'Neill Monarchy in Ulster maybe? Go raibh maith agat!

@Cionaodh57 I was given this shirt by a friend when I visited Belfast. Some of my ancestors were Ulster-Scots. There's a strong connection between Ulster & Dixie. That's all. What the folks there decide to do politically is up to them. As an outsider with ties to the area and culture I feel close to the people there but at the same time I'm a foreigner.

The Red Shirts sound like a pathetic pack of losers and traitors.
1/4 of the "male citizenry"...that is too bad. I always thought the Union should have done the Southerners like the rest of greater America did the Amerindians. 1/4 is simply not enough...now 15/16 that is a better figure.

please if youre going to start a new south, please dont try to take us in florida, we want nothing to do with the "south." well i guess you can take the rednecks in north florida but dont try south of gainesville

@hookemstano, There's nothing "new" about the South. We simply want to maintain our culture and liberty - which are being destroyed in the US empire. Florida is very divided, as you point out. I know plenty of good Southern people in Florida. Sadly, there are millions of people (lots of them up up North or from Latin America) who are hostile to the organic Southern culture of Florida.
