Im sorry but this tutorial is very vague, you dont help beginers at all, like when you say onion tool, you should show an image or something, i got lost at that part. thanks anyways buddy, but please be more descriptive next time.

well i gotta say this is a pretty crappy way of animating, the stick dude looks all fucked up and wavy, how do i fix this? it looks terrible.

thanks for the comment and the concern, this is just an example tutorial, and many people have used it to their advantage. If you prefer your stickman to look less wavy, use the Pencil Tool set to Curves (Press Y, then below, choose if you want it straight, cur ved or freehand). Setting it to Straight makes it able for you to draw full circles, curved makes you draw arms easily, and so on (don't use freehand).

sorry i can't get used to the remove and the reply buttons being next to each other, so i accidentally removed your last reply. u can't get the outline tool? hmm, ok look under the timeline, there should be 3 sort of buttons that look like one square on top of another. try clicking them all seperately to if you get a result.

This program works fine! if you have trouble with flash MX 2004 or any earlier version haven't you thought about UPGRADING to something more complex like Adobe Flash CS3?
3 Reasons why you could possibly hate this program:
It's a new program to you and find it hard to get used to
You know how to use it but your product is slow (slow PC maybe? remove useless junk from PC)
You become impatient with the amount of time it takes to make an animation and become fustrated?
