Ahmad Jamal(piano)
James Cammack(bass)
Idris Muhammad(drums)
That was amazing. I didn't know that Idris was such a good drummer .. He really tore the place appart, at some moments he made think about Clyde "funky drummer" Stubblefield. But let's not forget about James Cammack, when you'll see the musical conversation between them at the beginning of the video you'll see what i'm talking about... Ahmad was the perfect leader, sometimes he'll raise his hand then Idris and James will deliver some raw, heavy, funky sound, then he'll lower his hand and they'll instantly turn into a very soft and easy sound...
I'm so happy that i saw it live

The "Hand-Clappers" in this audience demonstrated the most coherence of any "Hand-Clappers" that I've heard at any type of concert. Does this mean that Jazz Listeners have rhythm? Pretty Good. Clap On!
