  • Can I assume you are displacing a gas, like air, when you take the water in, so are you doing this with some kind of piston-like pump running on electricity?

  • @erikelmore Yes you are right, air is being displaced as water is sucked in. The mechanism is a simple piston attached to a rotating screw which is run by an electric motor.

  • @erikelmore It is a modified sub to demonstrate the principle of Underwater Gliding.

    It dives by taking in-water and surfaces by ejecting water. Simple Buoyancy
