  • Were did you get that fixture with the little drum mounted and played by your right-foot pedal? I have seen similar things for cowbell, but not for a drum.

I love your drumming. Clean, precise and interesting.

Hi There! Thanks for watching my videos!

I have a little timbale that mounts on to stand, so I mounted it on to a pedal attachment, same as you would a cowbell. It's a little wobbly, but it's fun to experiment with! Good luck with your drumming!

  • What crashes are you using? I got an AA raw bell dry ride and i love it. I've listened to the AA Metal X hi hats and the 18" AA chinesse and definitly, Sabian AA is my sound. I would like to know what crashes are you using, i really like them! =D

Your drumming is awesome, and the sound of your drumkit amazes me O_o

Thank you for the video, i love it =)

  • Sabian AA's are the ones!! That is what I am using in the videos, generally extra thin and 16', 17" or 18". A 20" AA ride. Thanks for the compliments, and good luck with your drumming!!

  • Hi MrSkydog: Thanks for your comments, glad you enjoyed the videos. I think being able to read music is so important, because it gives you a method of organizing thoughts, rhythms, and forms of music. Also you can fast-track your learning by reading new ideas in books and magazines... things that are too difficult to pick out on a recording and perhaps too complex to come up with on your own. Good luck with your drumming, and thanks again!

  • Okay... you're on YouTube... on this video, you have (so far 7667 ratings), and only 26 comments. I've asked some questions on other videos. C'mon! 26 comments, and you can't reply? I really appreciate your showing us your technique, and rudiments.... but, to respond -- and answer questions --would only be so cool... especially when the comments are are only a small fraction compared to the ratings.... Peace, George

  • Hi George!! Yes, you're right, I should be replying to more of these comments!! The drums I'm playing on are 2007 series... excellent drums at an excellent price! They are birch, which is all I play on. Birch have a biting attack that I like. I like a pin-stripe type head, and I tune them medium/low . Thanks for checking out my videos... keep the questions coming and I'll try to answer them all!! Best of luck with your drumming!

  • .. and why haven't you got a job with Lenny Kravitz??

  • beautiful and talented :D

  • Kúrva jól dobol, de nem áll jól neki

  • What's with all these "Whisper" names commenting though??-lol-

Ms. Brendon, you're an amazing drummer and I'm more than glad I got to see this vid!

I'm a drummer myself, but I don't read music. Reading these comments, it seems that you do. So tell me, how important is it that I read music for drums (outside of basic rudiments of course)? I'm learning to read other music right now, but I'm considering adding drums to the mix.

Again, you're an amazing drumming and I love your style!
