Wasilla has 1-2 rapes on average per year. Your claims are all evident of how little you know about the situation. "BACKED" what? There was no policy, no bill, no nothing for her to "back." Do your own homework before throwing out that insipid empty insult typical of low info people.
BTW. Palin reduced the rape kit budget to $1000 from the $2500 in the 2000 / 2001budgets. Wasilla had to pay for two rape kits at $530 per kit in the two years noted. Pretty damn good budgeting, eh? You betcha.

Either she is lazy for not reading what she was signing, or guilty of being unethical and not caring how she kept her political promises about not raising taxes. Alaska has the most rapes per capita in the U.S. I mean you would think that the problem might catch the governors attention? Maybe she didn't see it hidden in the budget at first, but she most certainly saw it when it was opposed and investigated, and she still backed it. You do your homework.

Google "A Wasilla Rape Kit Doc Emerges" and "Wasilla Debunking Kit" for the truth on the rape kit controversy. Follow the links to more info. Google "lies about Sarah Palin" sites to get another side of things. Of course, looking at opposition sites takes a little intellectual honesty and willingness to see the truth. As for Palin signing off on a rape kit policy in Wasilla - wrong - she okayed the 2000 Wasilla BUDGET - hacks spin that as Palin signing off on charging for rape kits.
