Also, if someone is offended they are obviously to ignorant to know the meaning of culture... Mexicans, American-Mexican, whoever from Mexican desent should especially be proud of their history and happy that not only are they finding a cleaver way to teach children about true occurences in our history, but it also teaches those adults who may never have known that Chihuahuas were discovered in Chihuahua, Mexico... and not just some "silly" taco bell dog.

WTF?!? Seriously? How do a bunch of singing, dancing, computer-animated english speaking dogs give any reference or even passing nod to any part of history or culture? It's base exploitation on every level, it's offensive, and it is CERTAINLY going to cost you more brain cells than gain you wisdom. It's the same as the taco bell dog. The exact same. Watch a documentary on Mayan architecture. Now that might actually teach you something and give you a respect for the culture. Please.

Don't give the excuse that this movie is "a kids movie." It is an insult to children, especially when there is such higher quality children's entertainment like "Ratatouille," or "Finding Nemo," or "Toy Story"

Dude...after all that you said about that trailer...I think that what you said was one of the smartest things I've ever heard anyone say about this trailer. I saw the trailer for BHC in a theater and I had to walk outside and hit my head off the wall for about a minute...or two, I can't really remember. But anyway, I completely agree that this movie will completely suck, and to anyone who is too idiotic to spend money to see this abomination, I pity you.

As far as racist... This movie is not even close to that. Chihuahua dogs were discovered in Chihuahua, Mexico in the late 1850's. I think that it's a cleaver way to teach children the history of our world. It probably would not be my number 1 choice of movies to go watch, but i think it means well.... as far as teaching history of not only Mexico's Captial City of Chihuahua, but also sharing the knowledge of the chihuahua dogs journey in existence.

There is tons of children's literature, movies, music, and other art geared towards kids that has some cultural and intellectual value. Feeding them this horse shit is like feeding them McDonald's and anti-freeze.
