  • when john died, fredo is really died.

  • @jasonpeng1 I agree. In The Godfather I and II, Fredo gets a bad rap for being sort of the black sheep of the family who obviously is not cut out to be a mobster, especially in the top tier of a Mafia family. But let's face it, how many of us in real life would be cut out for something like that....honestly? I know I don't think I could commit murder as easily as Fredo's father and brothers.

  • in dog day afternoon, he was illed, it was his last movie. u can see that from his face. r.i.p johnny - your fan from iraq.

  • for those of you who thought the wedding scene was too long in the deerhunter, maybe they should have written in a couple fights, bombings, rapes, and a few murders during the wedding in order that it would meet the action quota of today's movies?

  • The fact is that there's ah little bit of John Cazale in all of us. Fear, despair, and vulnerability were never displayed better in movies than when Cazale starred. That's why he was so remembered as an actor.

  • @Cluebert Thats exactly what it was...

  • this film sucks. The plot is rather implausible, the russian roulette shit was overplayed. The only really good part of the film is the music score and cinematography.Meryl was really lovely here too.Forgot to mention the wedding sequence.Way too long!

  • @kurucfaszomat The Deer Hunter is crap. A group of 35-year-old men decided to join the army? Whatever.

  • John Cazale was in all of my all time favorite films:

    The Godfather

    The Godfather part 2

    Dog Day Afternoon

    The Deer Hunter
