In this world today you have your young super stars such as Justin Bieber, Bow wow, and Soulja Boy but Alabama has their own young super star that is initially known as Damion Dontae Johnson and the world of hip hop will soon know this young man as Lil Petey, who got his current name from his godmother because he never had to urge to pee until she was in the process of changing his diaper, he would pee all over her and from then on she would always call him Pissy Petey, so as a result, the name Lil Petey was born. Lil Petey is not just another kid who wants to rap, Lil' Petey is working on becoming the new era of hip-hop. This Montgomery, Alabama, native is known for rapping 16 consecutive bars of pure fire more skillfully, sharper, and faster than most rappers from both the old and new school.

At the tender age of 8, the young rapper started writing down his rhymes, in his notebook, as a way of expressing himself to the world. Though he is only 14, Lil Petey lets us know that he gets his inspiration for his rhymes from real situations and events that occur in his life growing up in Montgomery, Alabama. Lil' Petey is said to look up to rappers such as, Tupac, Lil Wayne, Drake, Gucci Mane, and Lil Boosie to also provide more inspiration for his musical genius.




He was discovered by, owner and CEO of Road Runner Management, Mac who also manages Cle and Track rock Productions. Lil Petey says "When I was 13, I recorded my first song and my brothers thought it would be a good idea to perform it at Mac's Gump Day party. The date was May 31, 2009 and Mac didn't even get a chance to see me perform but everybody kept asking him who that little boy was. So one day he came to my house, I've known Mac for years, and told me he would like to manage me in this rap game and we've been together ever since." Currently Lil Petey already has a successful mixtape under his belt titled Graduation Exam and if you think that's impressive he has a highly anticipated single called "Speaker Box" of the
"Lil Petey 1000 Terminator Edition Mixtape" Hosted By Sam Sneak Jam Squad's Own DJ.Black Holiday that is going to be digitally released this fall alongside the video directed by Miami's Own "Dre Films".
