Rob and Tracy Asatru Wedding

The Asatru wedding ceremony of Robert Livingston and Tracy Cabanyog October 7 2006. We wrote the ceremony ourselves using bits and pieces of other Asatru weddings posted on the internet. We kept some tradition hand fasting Pagan type bits. The wedding was held at Tou Velle State Park in Oregon, and the ceremony was performed by Aylah Hallel, and William MacGregor of Rowan Tree Pagan Ministries (rowantreecoven.org) Hope you enjoy!

I have now changed comments to being approved only due to a few racist fools trying to interject their own views on Heathenism, and Asatru. My wife and I are both of European descent and are proud of that fact. We worship the Gods native to our ancestors, and seek a future where all folk are free to do the same. Unlike some of the folks who posted negative comments we've never spent time in the American penal system, and are TRU to the faith of our ancestors, and their beliefs.

In my opinion, this is not a Heathen trait. It's a trait born from self loathing and hate that generally comes with the majority of the "Odinist" brand. Oh no I was just wondering! I meant no offense. Im sorry if it seemed like it. I didn't mean to come off sounding like a bigot. And I am not an anti-white bigot, I AM white. I was just wondering if I had potentially misheard. I meant NO disrespect. The opposite is actaully true. I think Asatru is a buetiful and facinanting religion and this ceremony is absolutly breathtaking. I feel drawn to it because of my European and Scadanavian roots. Again I meant NO disrespect.

My family was primarily Ásatrú and as a result, I have always designed appropriate items for those practicing Norse faith. I hate how racists have adopted it as a white supremacy institution: Ásatrú would never support such abuse of others! It is also a source of many a family conflict XD (the remainder is fundamental Christian)
