Well... in movie maker it's kinda hard, but once you get used to it, becomes pretty easy

I think the entire... original translation is a little messed up.

For instance, viri fortes = strong men.

Rivalesque erant = Rivals were

It's not "I have heard of his rumor" it is:

If it was, it would be "Audo" because if it involves you ("I") doing something, the verb ends in "O." This is more accurate as

"Heard of the famous story?"
