My late father enjoyed his 1911 EA, also a Maxwell Touring car. We still have it although driving it is somewhat daunting with the sliding gear transmission. I was pretty good at it a few years ago, but I fear I may have lost the "touch". Perhaps we'll break it out of storage this spring and give it a try. Best of luck on your ambitious endeavor.
