So David, Are you using oppisite side pressure or inside pressure to teach side pass? Ive been told it cant be dun with inside. Please help, Oklahoma

@david12000000 - Hi... I have a horse that just will not side pass! He will either back or pivot. Do you have any advise I could use?

@coastiex4xlife Whenyou use your spurs correctly, they aren't mean or cruel at all. But I totally get what you are saying, I felt the same way when my trainer had me use spurs.

Thank you soo much for this video. I am breaking my first horse, she is a 2 year old QH filly. My problem has been when we are in one place she will side pass but if we start walking she won't move sideways. If she does she runs me into the wall. How can I keep her from doing that?

I went to answer a question ,no it shouldnt take two weeks for a side pass... So if you see this ,, if you want and could send me a video of you doing it and I can see what you are doing

Oh I am getting thick skin,lol I most of the time let them have thier say.. of couse I think the guy was drunk so I took his or hers off..

second part to the last question
up the rein that is telling also your arent putting enough leg to him and if doesnt listen to the aid ,, find a aid at first he will listen to.. but that does give me a idea for the next viedo..

if he is stopping it is telling you arent give him any kind of reward for doing it.. now next time dont take it that far,, must move his hip once or twice before he wants to stop.. then move it the other way.. after that add more to it.. one step at time..that way the horse doesnt get to that point.Now if he is stopping when you pick
