http://live.pirillo.com - It's been awhile since we talked about mindmaps. Mindmapping is essentially visualizing the information you are trying to organize. You remember creating an outline back in school, I'm sure. Outlines are not always the easiest way to really see the big picture. This is why you would want to use a mindmap. Using one, you can explore your data in a much more two or three-dimensional way.
Compendium is a heavy duty cross-platform Open Source concept/dialog mapping software that has been used by NASA for astronaut to remote science team meetings and is still simple enough for an average joe geek.
VUE is another OS university project that doesn't have the database advantage of Compendium but is really cool for visualizing web content and spreadsheets, graphic presentations.
Freemind is the old faithful of Open Source, and is fast but files.
Google Wave has some maps 2.

Chris, you really need to put the screen into the video to show what is on the screen. The irony here is that you are just blabbing when the topic is visualization. So Chris, USE VISUALS, not so many words.
