HSI Green Building: Solar Panels and Electric Heat Pumps

Homeless Solutions, Inc. is building ten affordable apartments in Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey. After years in the design and approvals process, the project is poised to be the first LEED Platinum affordable housing development in New Jersey.

This is the fourth in a series of short videos intended to educate people about both the green building process and the development of affordable rental housing. It will also culminate in a longer video that will span the entire construction process.
