  • Its not what they call rock n roll, but great guitar playing is great guitar playing, whatever the genre.

Thanks for the post and much thanks to Mark K and

Chet A (RIP) for putting their music together - the world is a better place because of it !!!

  • Thank you again ..You know that Mark Knopfler is the best, along J. J. Cale ..naturally.

  • ce ne sera pas seulement "one time" d'écoute mais plusieurs fois car cela est tellement bon....

  • The versitility of both of these fine gentlemen is amazing. A fine seletions of songs. Bravo, Bravo.

  • @LeonardRockstein: I don't think there is a need to compare two obviously great artists who loved and respected each other. Let's just all be grateful they exist(ed) to make this kind of music for us. Also, when you really look at the work MK has put out, besides being a brilliant guitar player he really is a great songwriter isn't he. Great stuff!

  • all round music at its best just brillant

  • For Shizzle !

  • A dream album two great pickers inovators

  • This is my favourite album of all time.

Can anyone recommend any other similar blues/country music? I enjoy the other stuff by Atkins, but it's not quite like this album..

  • @ramseymarkf The fact that Chet Atkins did not play rock and roll is not because there is anything wrong with his tastes, but something right.

  • I never tire of Chet's music

  • @LeonardRockstein I agree it must have be the highlight of Marks career
