I avoid Velcro on all hunting and outdoor equipment because of the excessive niose. I like products that allow me to remain more "stelthy". I'll cut Velcro off and replace it with stainless steel snaps everytime on backpacks, clothes and all outdoor stuff!. Just as info!

With all due respect, and i'm a big fan of 'nutnfancy', but it doesn't seem as though he's really swinging the knife, just small little chops. This video wouldn't sell me on this knife, but his vids on the Spyderco Persistence and Tenacious sure did.

Ontario and Cold Steel make good 12" machetes which go for a round $20 American. Really any 12" machete will do, those are just the ones I prefer.
