Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, Contra Flow on 08/28/2005 Massive Evacuation Contra Flow Footage.

On 08/28/2005, New Orleans was under a mandatory evacuation and the panic was now everywhere. Katrina was now a Category 5 Hurricane in the Gulf Of Mexico and everyone wanted to get out of the path of Katrina. Footage shows the Massive Evacuation on Interstate 10 at Williams and Veterans with traffic backed up for miles and miles in both directions.   • 1:30 that's a cool camera angle.

  • @dudestir127 thanks, I used a very wide angle lens and put the camera on the edge of the road with my wallet and cell phone under the front to lift the front of the PD170 higher up a couple of inches. It looks like I was in the road but I was off to the side.

  • The watermark in the center of the video is un-necessary, considering you already have one in the corner of the screen. Do people do stupid shit like this just to be annoying, or is there some logic behind it?

  • @jh4dc5s No because broadcasters will put a lower third cover up over the bottom and then use the video for free and say they got it from Youtube and try and screw the videographers over and not pay to use this in their broadcasts. It's happened before and will happen again if there is no watermark in the middle of the screen.

  • Yo, why don't all of you people making funny jokes about this in stuff, SHUT UP? This is sad and serious. People having to go through this, and here we are on our 500$ Macs watching and posting funny comments. If you went through this you would be crying. So shut up and respect the people that went through it or lost homes. God Bless them all.
