    nWo 4 Life

  • 2/2/12 the end begins

  • @Ognyann

nWo was a total joke anyway, and they were all past their prime.

Nothing replaces Hall, Nash, and Hogan. It's better the nWo died. It should have died in 1998 or even when Sting beat Hogan at Starrcade.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy (continued from last responce) I think they could have made it work after HBK came as the new leader - he was a strong enough heel figure to replace Hogan in the role - but apparently Nash's unfortunate injury was the last nail in the coffin.

And, after all, it was already 2002. The nWo's time was long past at this point. Truth is, it got old even before WCW's bankruptcy. Still, I think that it could have been handled better in the WWE.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy Hogan's face turn killed the group's momentum, along with the fact that they never won a big match. After WrestleMania it was impossible to look at them and pretend they were a legit threat. Hall getting fired and Nash's injury are bad luck, but the WWE could have tried to build up nWo's most important kayfabe facet - they spread quickly like a cancer; by the time Nash tore his quad, the nWo should have been far more stronger presence than X-Pac, Big Show & Booker T (continue).
