This heart-breaking video shows the departure and subsequent crash of a Cessna 182 in a remote region of Colombia. The pilot was a director/volunteer for the Bogota Civil Air Patrol. They were transporting a patient on oxygen and the patient's mother to a hospital in Cali. The contributor notes: "The first words the pilot spoke at the beginning of the video instructs the passenger in the middle of the seat, next to the pilot, to 'Put your feet back and do not touch the pedals for nothing.' We do not yet know the cause of the accident and probably will never know."
The pilot was the only person to survive, but later died in the hospital. The burning building at the end is an empty school.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @mustiej70 haha man.. the people is not retarded.. believe me... first, learn spanish... then... if you pay attention, the plane is OBIOUSLY NOT on the runway, it is going left... and I simply dont care why... and maybe the people are on the sides of the runway watchin. MAYBE!!!.. I dont think anybody, anywere is dumb enough to stand in front of a plane that is taking off.. Here in Colombia or in the US and please, have some respect, the pilot died trying to save a sick and poor boy... so please

  • @james3433 sadly... yes. They all died. the mother, the kid and the auxiliar died instantly, the pilot, who suffer skin burns on the 95% of his body, died later on a hospital.

  • Overloaded aircraft can still take off in ground-effect, however once above ground-effect altitude, the aircraft will most likely stall.

  • I don't think the plane was overloaded however I would agree it was heavy. it appears that the pilot put the aircraft into a power on stall where he should have kept the angle of attack ( the pitch) down to let the c-182 build up airspeed. I would say the cause is the pilot tried to climb to much and stalled the wings and could not recover in time. AIRSPEED IS YOUR FRIEND!!!!

  • thats sad!! MY Dream is Flying!

  • did they die omg

  • Because you don't live in a place where someone see an airplane each 2 years or more!

  • Answer ur silly opinion..

    1. Please look at lmpsp comment above, you'll find the answer... So are you completelly sure that the airplane was overloaded? Do you understand spanish completelly well to understand the video?

    2. If it wasn't overloaded that plane didn't need to take off full flaps... (Simulator isn't = to reality)

    3. If you don't live in a underdeveloped country, give thanks to God, Buddah or wathever you believe in

  • you're the silly one

because the only thing what you do is giving a crap comment.
