If your wondering it has hardly nothing to do with the video card. The game is extremely CPU dependent so you can be running a GTX 580 with a i3 and still lag

@adamchattaway I had a videocard like that and played the open beta, yea it lagged also on me.
But a new motherboard doesnt gain you fps. But still that rig should run it fine anyway...

Pretty impressed that it runs pretty good on that 8800gtx! That card is from 2008 or so? or 2007 dont remember. I had one too when they released. Very expensive card back then.
Im wondering how this game will run now on my brand new rig.

oh wow. I put this vid on it's highest settings and running it with my 8800 gtx. and if this is what it looks like similarly in-game and not from a video. well... good thing I'm going with ps3 version. don't need to buy to upgrade pc and hope that it doesn't lag on ps3.

lagg in this game is horrible, i upgraded my pc to play it and still lagged.
AMD Phenom 2 3.2 ghz quad core
ATI HD 5850
4gig ddr3 1600 mhz memory
1.5tb HDD
New motherboard and still it lagged, i love ff but this game is wank. they even redesigning it currently because so many people quit, if you like grinding 1000 mobs for 1 lv and each fight takes 2 minuets, but this. but i recoment you wait and see how it turns out in a year.
