Saamy starring Vikram, Trisha, Vivek, Srinivasa Rao Kota, Vijaykumar - Truth always triumphs is at the core of the movie, Saami. It shows Saamis transition from corruption to honesty. Deputy Commissioner of Police Aaruchami (Vikram) efficiently maintains law and order in the city of Thirunelveli. At the outset, he seems to be a corrupt cop who accepts bribes from the very influential and powerful Annachi. Aaruchami tries his best to remain in Annachi's good books and seems to do everything with Annachi's blessings. However, at one point, Saami starts to rebel against him. The rest of the story narrates how he succeeds in eliminating the vile Annachi.
