Who remembers these corny public service announcements when they were living overseas on a military base? I lived in Panama for quite awhile, and these commercials are from the late 80s/early90s. My favorite one, which I unfortunately couldn't find, was the one with the two stick figure guys yelling at each other about drunk driving. Does anyone remember that one? If there's a chance you might have some of these on tape, definitely upload them so we can start a collection! Please subscribe as I will be uploading more Panama and military stuff soon.

Thanks,
Danny

  • i was in one which was made for the Chaplains Corp ... "Choose your friends wisely" - featured my command softball team! I have it on VHS, but who has a VCR anymore??? Would love to see it if you can find it.

  • I remember HIllbilly Bob public service announcement back...

  • The "Star Wars Cantina" one was cute.

Of the current ones, I like the "135 lb Loose Destructive Force," "Teddy Bears Moving," and the girl and her dad interacting about a PCS.

I work at AFRTS BC, but they won't let me record anything.

  • I'm trying to find some from La Maddalena, Italy. I was there from '97-99.

  • wow memories thanks so much for posting i grew up to these commercials...as a kid on FEN (Far East Network) and as a teen on AFN

  • anybody remember posture police?

  • They weren't any better in Germany either. I was there 80-94.

  • These are great! Thanks for sharing.

  • Do you recall the bumper music theme for SCN (Southern Command Network) used around 94-96?

Been trying to find those, actually be cool to post any SCN bumpers.

  • I remember these! I'm looking for the commercials where celebrities would say something interesting and historical and close by saying "its a fact in your Congress. Learn more about _________ in your local library."
