MGMTElectric Feel cover(update) Fantom XA workstation

it took me awhile to figure out that it was it 3/4 time signature.

I also had t learn how to work the sequencer on the Fantom which was hard but i got it down and i didnt have to use a loop station or drum modulator.

I had a total of 16 tracks because I tryed to nail every sound in the song. I think I got it very close to the real song so enjoy

Its alright with a Fantom but i think you're missin a couple notes at the beginning of the chorus. And yes. It's effing 6/4!!!

yah i actually started a couple measures later because I had to play along to the song witht he bassline to record.

omg 2 measures of 3/4 =1 measure of 6/4. same shit i hear no difference

Mate, it's really not the same. You're making a common mistake by counting 2 lots of 3/4 in 6/4, i.e. dividing a 6/4 bar into 2 3/4 bars. That's incorrect, 6/4 is a compound duple time signature and it's important to remember this when composing in it because you need to get a feel for the phrasing. By treating it as two bars of 3/4, you don't get the same ability to judge the musical phrasing of a piece.

hey do you know how to set the quantize to 1/16th 3 tripplet ?? i know how to set it to 1/16th but not tripplets . ive been setting the quantize% lower

Get off his back about 6/4, would you? The time signature has no bearing on whether it sounds good. Yes, it's incorrect musically, but it makes no difference to the ear.

6/4 Is counted like ONE two three FOUR five six. ONE two three FOUR five six. Or at least it helps me. Think of it as two triplets together.

i count it one measure of 4/4, one of 2/4. much easier, crapping out yeah but very easy.
