Roxy Music - Oh yeah (On the radio) 1980

Roxy Music - Oh yeah 1980

Some expression in your eyes
Overtook me by surprise
Where was I how was I to know'
How can we drive to a movie show
When the music is here in my car

There's a band playing on the radio
With a rhythm of rhyming guitars
They're playing Oh Yeah on the radio

It's some time since we said goodbye
And now we lead our separate lives
But where am I where can I go'
Driving alone to a movie show
So I turn to the sounds in my car

There's a band playing on the radio
With a rhythm of rhyming guitars
There's a band playing on the radio
And it's drowning the sound of my tears
They're playing Oh Yeah on the radio

  • Brilliant song ... melodic, atmospheric, and bittersweet ... a classic ! ... Wayne

  • Summer 1980. I first met a girl and we started a relation. I bought this record (vynil of course) and...'so it came to be our song, and so on trough, all summer long, day and night drifting into love'. She and I are still together.

    Cheers from Spain.

P.S. The bass player on this song is Neil Jason althogh is Gary Tibbs who appeared on the clip.

  • @MrPyjamarama it`s right, my Failure, thak you for the correction, but in Yuotube of Germany, i`get not the Rights to listen of Roxy best songs, Canges in the Rights? anyway, i`ve got them on "Vynil or CD"
