So this idea which has yet to be built or ever tested looks to be a copy off every other hydro/wind turbine created.

@tiny415bmf. You're right, this is only an idea, but not of "every other hydro/wind turbine". That's like saying a Ferrari is just like every other 4 wheeled transportation device. You've completely missed solar, heat, mechanical and natural energy driven as well - all in one package. Just the same, thanks for you comments.

So, it seems that Ant Power could also be lifted into high altitude wind by using a lifter kite (airborne wind energy conversion system AWECS as furthered in EnergyKiteSystems DOT NET ) .  Lift the Ant Power benerator set for wind turbining and send the power down a tether. Or in another tethered format: Use lifter kite to hold the Ant Power into mid water stream to generate electricity . Looks like Ant Power is morphable to many situations.

Ha ha. I thought this was going to be an ant powered turbine. If you get enough ants to move through a turbine in one direction they would essentially be a fluid.
