Westbound @ Granville / Stadium - This was built in the first half of the 20th century as a transfer tunnel for freight between Canadian Pacific Railway's Coal Harbour and False Creek facilities and split in two to allow SkyTrain. Westbound / inbound trains travel on the upper track while easbound / outbound trains travel on the lower deck of the two decks. In order to accomodate the height of two of the Ontario-built Mark I SkyTrain cars and necessary added clearance the bottom of the former freight train tunnel had to be deeper.
