@catalinaguerrero umm that doesnt make any sense. It doesnt help organize anything by splitting the sexes. But thats nothing a sexist idiot like you would understand =p

I'm not in favour of this separation.
It's the same in bridge. It just degrades women. In fact, it is not womens and mens it is womens and "open". This makes it even worse. Basically we are saying women can't compete with men, and if that is every admitted, it's just an excuse for the perpetual mediocrity of the women's game.
Like the unification of Germany, it was painful at first, but unification is the only way forward.

estupido... O_o

aka dumb idiot women can't compete with men so they get their own special olympics-esque league

I find that I am one of the few feminst chess players. The separation of women and men is almost always done to promote women in chess. They are vastly underrepresented and to promote chess, they are given special titles and invitations (like these to the US Championship). If this was a straight up coed tournament (and many of these exist) you would likely see only one or two women chess players.

Why a chess tournament cant be mix men-women? is very disgusting this stupid diferenciation...it is like saying: women are more stupid than men..(or au contraire)
-
Womens chess is more demanding due to the PMT.
Anyone else feel the need to cut themselves after listening to that music?
