I don't give a rat's wet behind about all this AMA stuff...personally MC is simply the best trimmer and most full featured tool for pure EDITING....which is what I use it for. Get the material in there and edit it. I personally find using the avid method of media management to be most benetageful and I'm thanksplue for there beneficiosity.

avid sucks if you have a problem support is very dfifficult

Avid FTW over final cut, Final cut sank with FCPX.
But two dislikes:
1. I'm not a fan of the paired stereo track.
2. Make it cheaper
However Real time media import without transcoding makes up for it. Keep up the good work
