Having driven around the entire Gulfcoast from southern Malaysia to the vietnamese border at the cambodian gulfshore, the traffic in Phnom Penh was by far the hardest obstacle to master. I still did enjoy all of it and am glad to have survived it without a dent or scratch. It is just so amazing that u drove all the way from KL to Cambodia with a regular Proton Wira... I'm like what??? He drove there???? Well done!!! You should be in the Guiness Book of Records..

wow, I got back from visiting Cambodia 2 weeks ago. It was exactly like this. Hectic traffic with people who don't really care about the well-being of other's.

Spend a day riding round the Penh on an AX-1. Loved it, but you have to have your wits about you. Still recon it was safer than New Zealand roads where everyone drives with their bloody eyes closed - especially when it comes to seeing bikes.

Hardly a day where they don't have to remove bloodstains from Sisowath, Monivong and the roundabout at Phsar Thmey!

lol...fair play to you...ill be out there in 2 months, ill think ill leave it to the licensed (or unlicensed probably) moto drivers

Besides the reckless motos, they have motorized tuktuks and also cars (taxis) - please be aware of overcharging for transport fees, which is quite common when they deal with foreigners!
