Heart Attack -- Signs and Symptoms

The Society of Chest Pain Centers represents hundreds of hospitals and thousands of healthcare professionals who are committed to preventing untimely death and disability from heart disease. EHAC focuses on prevention through the recognition of early symptoms of heart attack. Early symptoms, such as mild chest pain or stuttering chest pain, are identified as major risk factors for heart attack. Many folks frequently ignore these warnings and put themselves at risk for significant damage to the heart muscle or even death. SCPC's objective is to enlist 100,000 or more health care professionals and patients to take this oath and educate themselves and their community on the early signs and symptoms of an impending heart attack.
