My conscious mind was listening too and disagrees with your idea that my unconscious can suss out what to absorb and what to toss. To some extent, perhaps. But at least my understanding is that if you can communicate direct to the unconscious, one bi-passes many filters set in place by the conscious. Isn't the essence of the unconscious, this lack of filtering? And if U agree, why suggest that the unconscious can suss it out, is that a check to see which portion of the mind is in control?

isnt it a kewl intro to unconscious mind?howevere i disagree with jamiesmart's 8 points!dealing with unconscious mind shouldnt be obvious and i feel which always be sublimal/embedded.if i say i wanna talk to yer unconscious mind,will it happen?yer 8points are so closer to aims and it alerts conscious firewall of our mind!!!!!!switching the rhythm,tones,styles etc would be the pathway to unconscious mind communication!synchronisation is the crucial and basic key!!
