Stuck in Vermont 11: Cindy Sheehan

3/2/07, Montpelier, Middlebury, Burlington, VT: Peace activist Cindy Sheehan, John Nichols (Nation magazine), former Army Sgt. Drew Cameron, former Marine Cpl. Matt Howard, former Army Sgt. Adrienne Kinne (all three are with Iraq Veterans Against the War), and Newfane Selectboard Member Dan DeWalt (organizer of the town meeting resolutions) barnstorm through eleven towns in Vermont to speak in support of citizen actions and participation in Vermont town meeting on March 6.

I wished this video could have show at least some of the other point of veiw. The thing aobut Vermonters is that the majority of us arnt striclty liberls or stircly conservatives. We're a little bit of both! And thats why town meeting day is soooo important. It was really intresting to hear from Sheehan and the 3 vets. I do not support the war, but imediate withdrawl also seems like a catstrophe. I wish people could see that this isnt so black and white!!!

Good point. I wish I had included some of the other points of view that were being presented on that day. More than anything, I was trying to focus on Cindy but the Pro-War viewpoints are part of her story. I tried to interview one of the Anti-Cindy protesters but she would not speak on camera. Interestingly enough, Cindy and her shared a nice moment even though the woman was holding a sign that said, "GO Home Cindy."

I lost my son, Sgt. Matthew Fenton, in Iraq just over 1 year ago. To all of you people speaking out against Cindy, you do not know of what you speak. This woman for many other Gold Star Families.She does not attack members of the military but those who send our kids into hopeless situations.How dare any of you denounce her when she has suffered the ultimate pain. I know it quite well. SWhe has the right and the duty to speak out. I only wish I could have her dedication and strength.

i posted 2 messages and i'm not sure if they both came up so i'm gonna put what i said before because it's not showing up. I have, I filmed my sisters wedding, i filmed a project in middle school and i worked at CCTV. At CCTV i did the live show as a camera guy, mixing board. In middle school i had a camera that the cable company let us use for the library or something. My sisters wedding film is personal .Recently i was at Vcam doing the camera work with my friend Crowfeather for a music video.

Still getting edited. If you want to run a trial test to see how good i am I'm available any time. I do take the bus or get a ride from someone. I don't have a camera yet but i want to get one to record the beauty of Vermont. Especially Battery park looking out to the lake or my favorite view looking at mount. Mansfield covered in snow. I grew up here and i know the area. I don't really care about getting payed for it, the experience is good enough because i would love to do Movies or TV

A couple of months ago i went to VCAM Helping a friend with making a Music Video. His name is Crowfeather and i was working the camera. It was just a stationary camera but i have had experience with shoulder cameras back in school. I also been to CCTV working The mixing boards and Camera there. I also filmed my sisters wedding. I also took classes in middle school how to take pictures with a regular cam and how to develop them in a dark room. But the stuff i have filmed is either private or..

..VT's Gaye Symington and Shumlin will not hold LEGAL hearings on the invasion. Shumlin held a vote - no legal hearing. Symington did a listen no Legislators present (a few, came on their own) not a legal hearing. Legislators voted w/out hearing testimony and VTers are so informed and articlate. Thank you Cindy for never giving up.
