Part 3 Welcome to WIC - Shopping for Milk

This video was developed by the California WIC Program for orientation of new WIC participants. WIC is a federally-funded health and nutrition program for women, infants, and children. WIC helps families by providing checks for buying healthy foods from WIC-authorized vendors, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support, and help finding other programs or services you may need. Part #1 explains the basics about the WIC program. Part #2 goes over the foods you can buy and the important parts of your WIC check. Parts #3-8 show you how to shop for WIC foods and what happens at checkout. Welcome to WIC!
