Phoenix church-owned Hell House says "faggot" openly in haunted house called Final Destination IV

"The Door Christian Center" owns and operates a fake Haunted House in Chandler, AZ just outside of Phoenix. This "church" portrays graphic deceptions of what they consider wrong in a campaign marketed in a way that borders fraud.

According to multiple sources, NBC News Affiliate Channel 13 in Phoenix did a supportive story on this "Hell House", although NBC has not yet commented on their involvement with the promotion of this. Ask them about it here:

Hell houses are haunted attractions typically run by American, fundamentalist Christian churches. These fake haunted houses depict sin, the torments of the damned in Hell, and usually conclude with a depiction of heaven. They are almost always operated in the days preceding Halloween, in order to confuse unwilling patrons in to coming to the attractions. Hell Houses are not part of Halloween.

A hell house, mimicking a conventional haunted-house attraction, is a space set aside in which actors attempt to frighten patrons with gruesome exhibits and scenes. Common examples include abortion, suicide, use of alcoholic beverages and other recreational drugs, adultery and pre-marital sex, occultism, homosexuality, and Satanic ritual abuse. Hell houses typically emphasize the belief that anyone who does not accept Christ as their personal savior is damned to Hell.

We showed up with information flyers and got the unknowing to go home!! It was AWESOME!! Funny thing, the turnout this year was weak, mostly church members, so it was good to see that the word was spread about this "haunted mansion". Mission accomplished!

Before one accuses the church of "deception" in stating this was a haunted house and it turns out to be "not your typical" haunted house remember one thing. This was a church doing the HH and not your local Jaycees. Use some common sense people! One should expect this from fundie Christians, and don't complain when they do what they always do. This is a "typical HH" for fundies! So next Halloween go to the one sponsored by Moose Lodge if you don't like this kind.
