my grandfather was a hillclimber back in the 60s and my dad did to in the 80's

Hill-larious, like jumping on a fatboy or rubbermount today and pretending it's a dirt bike. They can barely make it up a gradual slope. That's what made Knievel so great, the fact that he could jump that heavy iron junk and live.

Wouldn't love to go back in time and show up on the line with a modern dirt bike.

I was just being a Britbike nut no worries. KR's would and did make great hillclimbers. Nice footage thanks for taking the time. Actually thought it was found stock footage, you have a gem there!

If that were a real hill there would be more brit bikes I bet. Dressers are enthusiastic though! awesome clip. Can you imagine HD riders going out Sunday these days on thier dressers? Nah those days are gone I think.

There were probably more Brit bikes than shown. My dad was a Harley nut, so he probably saved his expensive 8mm film for the Harleys. Thanks for posting!
