Finally I learn what the debate is about regarding SCR. Ok, I get the argument against embryo research. What would be unethical about adult SCR? No one dies..right? Aren't adult stem-cells donated by adults for research with no ill effects to the donor? Still a little unclear.

We need to just start this, I'm pretty sure human life is more important than some cells. Cristians you're contradicting yourselves! If you don't want some unconsious practically dead cells to die, but don't care about dieing people, then that's way more immoral.

Experiments on paralyzed rats showed when given Stem Cell Therapy the rats actually were unparalyed over time and the Stem Cells injected into them helped them. They also helped with Rats that had cancerous tumors. And yet we still will not start funding for Stem Cell research because of the stupid ass ppl and their "controversy" on the issue. And also the dumbass religious groups that say it would be "Playing god". Yep the human race is indeed a very retarded one.

Every one talks about not wasting life, but that happens all the time naturally egg cells are always leaving female bodies, sperm cells die every second. If this is really a question of human life then from now on men can't be in hot tubs or take hot baths because that "wastes life", murders have to now be charged with the amount of lives the victim could've had based on fertility. Are you kidding me!?!? It's a different ball game when you talk about a cluster of cells over a breathing baby.

why do you always change the subject just before they mention that adult stem cell's almost always get rejected and the immune system seek's out and destroy the adult cells making a dangerously ill patient even worse off. How ever embryonic cells always get excepted because they have the same d.n.a.
Just so it's clear; embryonic stem cells offer much more promise. This is Christian propaganda at its worst. This is ridiculous. Take everything you see here and go look up the facts of it in the real world.

You wouldn't think twice about killing a tapeworm, why is a parasitic bundle of cells any different? It's not a human life.
