  • if you can do this twice in a row without stopping you don't need this type of training. you need about one million Persians to exterminate like the movie. this routine is so hard. i been using bodylastics since june 2009 and i can't get anywhere near perfect on this routine

I finally got a set of these bands off amazon, and they are pretty good for a few exercises its still very awkward doing any type of heavy leg exercises or presses, but for arm exercises and a few shoulder movements they seem to be just as good as free weights, i don't think it can rival free weights as a replacement but they work very well in conjuction with them.

  • @PattyCakesahoy ok i take it back...looked at more videos online and bodylastic's bands have an internal core like nylon structure that aids in preventing it from snapping, that being said, i experimented with it and yea i managed a clean and press, full snatch, and overhead press...on the website they kinda have 2 workouts mixed up. Stiff legged deadlift is a good morning and vice versa i'm sure its just an error but deff check em out man bodylastics juss got and love em!

  • how often should i do these a week?

  • @PattyCakesahoy i agree with you BUT! (check out power systems dot com) that type of workout requires a different kind of resistance band called a strength band with these you can do clean and press, full snatch, deadlifts up to i think 200lbs of resistance....they're used by wrestlers to simulate those olympic lifts...i thought the same thing then juss googled everything hahahah

im a very strong man, how much resistance can you generate with these bands, i mean the highest they go are the black ones and they are a mere 23 pounds? lol? i just cant see them replacing compound movements like barbell squats and power deadlifts, but see some usefulness for small muscle groups but not thighs or lats.

  • at the 1:17 mark is that X-Pac?

  • @jaydol85 size my friend this will make you bigger it is similar to what the cast of 300 did in order to gain that insanse look
